## Synopsis

Attack on London: Hunting the 7/7 Bombers (2025) is a British true crime documentary miniseries broadcast on Netflix. Across four 46-minute episodes it rebuilds the July 2005 suicide bombings on London's transport network through insider testimony and never-before-seen footage. Interviewees speaking as themselves include Detective Superintendent Doug McKenna of the Anti-Terrorist Branch, Deputy Assistant Commissioner Peter Clarke, former M15 Inspector General Eliza Manningham-Buller, former Prime Minister Tony Blair, and London Underground attack survivor Dan Biddle. The engine of the story is the hunt itself: detectives tracing the bombers through forensic work, surveillance and intelligence leads while the city absorbs the shock of the attacks. Each episode moves between the chronology of the investigation and the testimony of those who lived through it, with the aftermath carrying as much weight as the attacks. The tone is sober, tense and investigative, with an atmosphere of institutional reckoning. Viewers who appreciate documentary series like Chernobyl or The Hunt for the Unabomber will find the same mix of archival immediacy and official accountability here. Set in 2005 London, it is a restrained, unsparing account of terrorism and its consequences.
