## Synopsis

Total Drama World Tour (2010-2011) is a Canadian animated reality competition series created by Jennifer Pertsch and Tom McGillis for Teletoon. It is the third season of the Total Drama franchise and runs as a single season of 26 twenty-two-minute episodes. Host Chris McLean (Christian Potenza) guides a cast of returning castaways, including the scheming Heather (Rachel Wilson), the easygoing Cody (Peter Oldring), the lovestruck Courtney (Emilie-Claire Barlow) and the upbeat Gwen (Megan Fahlenbock), alongside three newcomers. The engine of the show is a globe-trotting contest in which contestants travel to different countries and tackle challenges built around each culture's traditions. A standing twist requires them to break into song without warning, and anyone who fails is immediately eliminated, so every episode blends rivalry with musical comedy. Its tone is brash, breezy and mischievous, with cartoon slapstick and sharp satire of reality television. Fans of Total Drama Island, South Park and Survivor will find the same mix of competitive scheming and irreverent animated humor here.
