## Synopsis

I, Jack Wright (2025-present) is a British crime drama series created by Chris Lang for U&Alibi. The story opens when Wright family patriarch Jack is discovered dead from an apparent suicide, leaving his household shattered. Sally Wright (Nikki Amuka-Bird) leads a family whose grief quickly curdles into suspicion, with John Wright (Daniel Rigby), Gray Wright (John Simm) and Georgia Wright (Zoë Tapper) each carrying old resentments into the aftermath. Detective Chief Inspector Hector Morgan (Harry Lloyd) and Detective Constable Kat Jones (Liz Kingsman) work the case while the family squabbles over the truth behind the death. The engine is a investigation that keeps uncovering private grievances, with each of the six episodes peeling back another layer of the household's history. The series is a short, single-season run in the vein of Broadchurch and The Missing, offering a bleak, claustrophobic tone of domestic dread, sharp family conflict and grief that never settles into comfort.
