## Synopsis

Phineas and Ferb (2007-present) is an American animated musical comedy created by Dan Povenmire and Jeff 'Swampy' Marsh for Disney XD and Disney Channel. Phineas Flynn (Vincent Martella) and his stepbrother Ferb Fletcher (Thomas Brodie-Sangster) spend each summer day inventing an outlandish new project, from a roller coaster to a rocket built overnight, while their older sister Candace (Ashley French) tries desperately to expose them to their mother Linda (Caroline Rhea). Their pet platypus Perry works undercover as a secret agent, sneaking off to foil the schemes of the scheming Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz (Dan Povenmire), whose inventions always backfire. Each episode is a self-contained caper built around a fresh project that escalates into spectacle, and the running stories of the sister's failed busts and the villain's bungled plans carry across a long run of more than two hundred episodes over six seasons. The suburban setting feels bright, sunny, and cheerfully ridiculous, with catchy original songs and quick, witty wordplay that appeals to kids and adults alike. Fans of Gravity Falls, The Fairly OddParents and Recess will find the same blend of inventive chaos, sibling mischief, and warm, playful humor.
