## Synopsis

Buried Hearts (2025) is a South Korean crime thriller series created by Lee Myung-hee for SBS. Park Hyung-sik plays Seo Dong-ju, a hacker who has exposed a political slush fund worth two trillion won and now risks everything in a campaign of revenge. Huh Joon-ho plays Yeom Jang-sun, Hong Hwa-yeon plays Yeo Eun-nam, and Kwon Soo-hyun plays Yeom Hee-cheol, each entangled in the web of corporate and political power that Seo Dong-ju must navigate. The engine of the series is a patient, calculated game: every episode turns on a new layer of money, data and betrayal, and the protagonist must stay one step ahead of people who hold the real power. The story unfolds across a single sixteen-episode season of roughly sixty-five minutes each, giving it the shape of a tightly built limited series. Set in contemporary Seoul, it sits within the tradition of Korean television's chaebol dramas, with a tense, dread-filled atmosphere, cold boardroom spaces and a steady undercurrent of grief and resentment. Fans of Vincenzo, The Penthouse and Money Heist will find resonance in its blend of revenge, corporate scheming and high-stakes crime.
