## Synopsis

May I Ask for One Final Thing? (2025) is a Japanese animated fantasy comedy series adapted from a light novel and produced by LIDENFILMS and Aniplex for TOKYO MX and other Japanese broadcasters. The story follows the elegant noblewoman Scarlet El Vandimion, voiced by Asami Seto, whose engagement is abruptly called off at a ball when her fiancé Kyle von Pallistan (voiced by Taito Ban) falsely brands her a bully. Denounced by the aristocratic families and worn down by years of his abuse, she asks for one last favor: to land a good punch in his face. Across a single thirteen-episode season, that request becomes a campaign of revenge against Kyle and his cronies, with courtly intrigue, romantic tangles and brisk slapstick brawls driving each episode. The show leans on a shoujo sensibility, with a witty, irreverent voice and a rebellious heroine who refuses to be used by anyone. Its tone is breezy and cathartic, a sharp comedy of a refined lady with a short fuse set against gilded fantasy nobility. Fans of Ascendance of a Bookworm, Reign of the Villainess and Konosuba will find familiar pleasures in its mix of fantasy court politics and comedic action.
