## Synopsis

Yellowstone (2009) is a British natural history miniseries produced for BBC Two, a three-episode nature documentary that follows the park's celebrated wildlife across a single year. Rather than a single narrative cast, the series treats America's wildlife icons as its protagonists, tracking the animals through the seasonal pressures that shape their survival, from harsh winters to the scramble for food and territory in spring and summer. Each hour is built from patient observation, long-lens camera work, and the rhythms of the landscape itself, so the drama comes from the natural world rather than scripted conflict. The result is a calm, awe-filled viewing experience, warm and wondrous in tone, that rewards viewers who enjoy immersive wilderness footage. Its scale is modest, three episodes totaling roughly three hours, and its focus remains on the vast geysers, rivers, and forests of one of the most extraordinary wildernesses on Earth. Fans of Planet Earth II, Blue Planet II, and Our Planet will find the same sense of wonder and natural-history craftsmanship here.
