## Synopsis

This Is the Zodiac Speaking (2024) is an American true crime docuseries miniseries released on Netflix. Across three roughly 45-minute episodes, the series follows a family searching for answers about the Zodiac killings that terrorized Northern California in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Their investigation takes shape through clues, personal records, and eye-opening testimonies that repeatedly circle back to the prime suspect, Arthur Leigh Allen, whose name anchors the case. Archive footage and interviews featuring figures tied to the original investigation, including Robert Graysmith, Paul Avery, and David Fincher, give the story a documentary weight. The tone is sober and investigative, with a steady undercurrent of unease as each testimony reshapes what viewers think they know about the unsolved case. Fans of The Jinx, Making a Murderer, and Mindhunter will find resonance in its patient, evidence-driven approach to a notorious cold case. Its brisk, self-contained run makes it a compact entry point for anyone drawn to unsolved serial killer mysteries and the lingering questions they leave behind.
