## Synopsis

Don't Come Home (2024) is a Thai limited series created by Thananuj Ebrahim for Netflix, a six-episode miniseries that blends horror, mystery and thriller with the lakorn tradition of Thai television drama. A mother and her young daughter flee to their family's abandoned mansion hoping for shelter, but the house soon fills with paranormal incidents that culminate in the little girl's mysterious disappearance. Cast members Woranuch Bhirombhakdi as Varee and Pitchapa Phanthumchinda as Fah anchor the family at the center of the haunting, while Cindy Sirinya Bishop as Panida and Pariit Thimthong as Tae help carry the investigation and the buried history of the estate. Each episode of this forty-eight-minute miniseries peels back another layer of family secrets, with eerie corridors, shadowy rooms and a creeping sense of dread driving the narrative forward. The tone is moody and unsettling, with a slow burn of paranormal unease rather than constant spectacle. Fans of The Haunting of Hill House, The Haunting of Bly Manor and Shutter will find resonance in its atmospheric, family-centered scares and its intertwining of grief and mystery.
