## Synopsis

Los Reyes (2005) is a Colombian telenovela created by Marcelo Tinelli for RCN, a single-season run of 250 episodes. The story centers on the Reyes family, with Cony Camelo as Hilda Edilberta Reyes and Enrique Carriazo as Edilberto Reyes anchoring the household, while Jery Sandoval plays María Del Carmen Reyes. Diego Trujillo appears as Emilio Iriarte and Daniel Arenas as Santiago Iriarte Vanegas, and their connections to the family drive much of the romantic and domestic intrigue. Each episode builds on family loyalties, romantic entanglements, and the pull between household duty and personal desire, unfolding through the heightened emotional exchanges typical of the form. Set in contemporary Colombia, the series offers a warm, celebratory register with dramatic reversals and sentimental moments that make it a comfortable binge for viewers who love long-form melodrama. Fans of Yo soy Betty, la fea, Pasión de gavilanes and Cuando seas mía will find familiar pleasures in its sprawling family canvas, romantic rivalries, and emotionally charged storytelling that never lets the mood cool.
