## Synopsis

Pass the Monster Meat, Milady! (2025) is a Japanese animated fantasy comedy series based on a light novel and manga, produced for TBS and broadcast as a single twelve-episode season. Lady Melphiera (voiced by Kanna Nakamura) is a noblewoman whose refined palate runs to monster meat, a craving that society considers shockingly unladylike and that earns her the label of the Voracious Villainess. Her engine is simple and mischievous: she wants to enjoy her favorite dishes without shame while the rigid etiquette of an aristocratic court keeps pushing back. After she is attacked by a monster at a banquet, she is rescued by the feared Blood-Mad Duke Aristide (voiced by Taito Ban), a brutal and mysterious man who turns out to be intrigued rather than horrified by her appetite. Each episode pairs fantasy battles against creatures with cooking, tasting, and courtly social maneuvering, building a light romance around shared culinary curiosity. The tone is breezy and witty, with a comforting, gently absurd charm and occasional bursts of action. Fans of Delicious in Dungeon for its monster gastronomy and of Ascendance of a Bookworm for its cozy fantasy romance will find resonance here, in a series that rewards viewers who enjoy playful subversion of genre expectations.
