## Synopsis

Het Huis Anubis (2006-2009) is a Belgian and Dutch youth mystery soap created by Anjali Taneja and broadcast on Nickelodeon. Set at a boarding school, the series follows a group of students, among them Nienke Martens (Loek Beernink), Amber Rosenbergh (Iris Hesseling), and Fabian Ruitenburg (Lucien van Geffen), who discover a long hidden secret in the attic and set out on a search for treasure. The engine is the chase itself: each episode advances a riddle, a clue, or a rival's scheme, while friendships, crushes, and jealousies play out between classes. Short twelve-minute episodes build into a long, four-season serialized run, with the mystery tightening gradually across the years. The atmosphere is playful and cozy, with an Egyptian-themed mystery threaded through everyday school life. Its tone is light, sincere, and adventurous, pitched at younger viewers, and it will appeal to fans of Harry Potter, Goosebumps, and A Series of Unfortunate Events who want youthful puzzle solving and friendship-driven adventure.
