## Synopsis

The Glass Dome (2025) is a Swedish nordic noir miniseries created by Camilla Läckberg for Netflix. Criminologist Lejla (Leonie Vincent) joins the search when her friend's daughter goes missing, and the case pulls her back toward the buried memories of her own childhood abduction. Played in the present day with recurring glimpses of her younger self (Seraphine Krystek as Young Lejla), the story follows the search through a tight, closed community where every relationship carries its own suspicion. Johan Hedenberg as Valter and Johan Rheborg as Tomas appear among the principal figures whose loyalties and secrets make the hunt more difficult. Across six episodes of roughly forty-six minutes each, the series is built as a single continuing investigation, with each hour peeling back another layer of the town's unease. The tone is cold, intense and melancholic, with a steady dread that rests as much on Lejla's unresolved trauma as on the crime itself. Fans of The Bridge, Broadchurch and The Killing will find the same mix of brooding atmosphere, procedural patience and a detective whose personal history bleeds into the work.
