## Synopsis

In Flight (2025) is a British six-episode limited series created by Mike Walden and Adam Randall for Channel 4. Katherine Kelly stars as Jo Conran, a flight attendant whose teenage son is jailed for murder in Bulgaria, and she is pulled into a murky underworld of drug smuggling and blackmail. Stuart Martin plays Cormac, and Ashley Thomas plays Dom, both figures whose motives remain tangled with her desperate search for leverage. Each episode tightens the screws as Jo trades her everyday competence for improvised criminal manoeuvres, racing against a clock set by the legal system and the people who hold her son's fate in their hands. The engine is simple and relentless: a mother who will stop at nothing, obstacles multiplying at every border and airport, and debts that keep growing. Shot with an intense, claustrophobic tone, the series balances suspense with raw emotional stakes and a sense of moral erosion. Fans of Liar, Breaking Bad and Hostages will find resonance in its propulsive dread and its portrait of an ordinary person sliding into the criminal world.
