## Synopsis

Traveler (2007) is an American conspiracy thriller series created by David DiGilio for ABC, running a single eight-episode season. Matt Bomer plays Jay Burchell and Logan Marshall-Green plays Tyler Fog, two grad school friends who pull a harmless rollerblading prank through a famous New York City museum and wake up as prime suspects in a terrorist bombing. Their engine is simple and urgent: they cannot turn to the police, because they cannot prove that their third friend Will, played by Aaron Stanford, even exists, since he has managed to hide his face in every photograph from the past two years. Each episode tightens the net as federal agents, including Viola Davis as Agent Jan Marlow and Anthony Ruivivar as Agent Guillermo Borjes, close in while the pair chases the truth on foot. The tone is paranoid and breathless, with a dread that grows from ordinary life turning against its characters. Fans of 24, The Fugitive and Persons Unknown will find resonance in its hunted protagonists and serialized conspiracy. The series was canceled, so its story ends unresolved.
