## Synopsis

Breakdown (2025) is an Argentine crime thriller limited series created by Alejandro Stoessel for Disney+. Miranda (TINI) is the protagonist, a woman who begins to uncover her own past while confronting a mighty family, and her choice between revenge and forgiveness drives the story. Javier Lara (Jorge López) and Leo (Martín Barba) are among the principal figures tangled in the family's dealings, and Emiliano (Antonio de la Vega) and Santiago (Otto Sirgo) add pressure from the family's powerful side. Across six episodes of roughly forty-seven minutes each, the series builds its momentum from each revelation about the past, with every confrontation pushing Miranda closer to a decision she cannot take back. The tone is melodramatic and tense, with emotional betrayals and simmering menace layered over a crime plot. Set in contemporary Argentina among wealthy and influential circles, the series is a one-season serialized entry on the streaming platform. Fans of Gossip Girl, Succession and Rebelde will find resonance in its blend of family intrigue, wounded loyalty and high-stakes melodrama.
