## Synopsis

Children of Change (2024-present) is a Russian crime drama series created by Sergey Taramaev for NTV, with later seasons on START and Wink. Half-brothers Yura (Makar Khlebnikov), Ruslan (Khetag Khinchagov) and Pyotr (Slava Kopeykin) try to keep their close bond intact while their mother Flora (Viktoriya Isakova) holds the household together. The engine of the series is the pull of greed and violence: the brothers drift into underground clubs, street fights and criminal dealings that threaten everything they have built. Set in 1995 Russia, the story unfolds against the collapse of an once-secure world, with the chaos of the post-soviet years shaping every decision. Episodes follow the brothers' tense escapades and the rising stakes of their choices, while the family drama stays at the center. The season count of two, with eight episodes each, gives the story a serialized arc in which loyalty and survival are constantly tested. The mood is gritty, bleak and emotionally charged, with moments of raw tenderness between the brothers. Fans of Brigada, Bumer and Peaky Blinders will find resonance in its blend of criminal menace and family loyalty.
