## Synopsis

Nytt på nytt (1999-present) is a Norwegian panel show and the national version of the British comedy programme Have I Got News for You, produced by Hat Trick Productions and broadcast on NRK. Hosted by Bård Tufte Johansen, with permanent panelists Johan Golden and Kristine Grændsen, who replaced Isalill Simonsen Kolpus in spring 2026, the programme pits two panels against each other each Friday night. One seat is held by a regular and the other by a rotating guest, and the teams are set a handful of tasks built around the week's headlines. The competitive element is largely a pretext: scores get only a brief mention at the end, while the real engine is the sharp back-and-forth between panelists as they poke fun at politicians, journalists and celebrities. Its tone is quick, irreverent and conversational, grounded in the everyday news rhythms of Norwegian public life. Across more than fifty seasons and over 800 episodes, it has become one of the most-watched weekly shows on Norwegian television, drawing over a million viewers each week. Fans of Have I Got News for You, Mock the Week and other topical satire panel shows will find much to enjoy in its mix of wit and mischief.
