## Synopsis

H is a French absurdist workplace sitcom created by Éric Judor, Kader Aoun and Xavier Matthieu for Canal+, running from 1998 to 2002 across four seasons and seventy-one episodes. Set in a dysfunctional hospital in Paris, it follows three bumbling, eccentric medical employees as they attempt ordinary duties and spiral into chaos. The engine of the show is simple: surgical imprecision and social awkwardness collide repeatedly, producing a recognizable rhythm of running gags and escalating mishaps. Each short episode works as a self-contained comic set piece, while the loose ensemble feels both affectionate and gleefully unhinged. The tone is irreverent, deadpan and cringe-tinged, with a breezy pace that keeps the absurdity moving. Viewers who enjoy Scrubs or Spaced will recognize the blend of hospital setting, incompetent colleagues and sharp, awkward humor. It is a light, quick watch for anyone who likes comedy that skewers institutions and the people who run them, with laughs that depend on character more than plot.
