## Synopsis

The All-Devouring Whale: Homecoming (2025) is a Chinese web animation xianxia donghua series created by Mo and released on bilibili. Fan Lingxiao, a gifted spiritual pet master, is betrayed during a sect promotion contest and swallowed by Kun, his own spiritual beast. He wakes reborn as a young man named Liu Fengmang, locked in the dungeon of the White Mansion, while his home sect Lingxiao Pavilion teeters toward collapse. Voiced by Shujun Lv as Fan Lingxiao, the story follows his effort to uncover why Kun turned on him and to rebuild his fallen sect. He travels with his existing spiritual pets alongside companions Gu Ling, Cheng Xi and Yue Tong, voiced by Ge Zirui, Zhimao and Yue Tong's cast. The series unfolds as a single thirteen-episode season of serialized adventure, where each episode pushes a mystery forward through battles, sect politics and beast-fueled combat. Its tone blends brisk comic energy with earnest revenge and rebuilding, set in a richly imagined cultivation realm with the look of modern Chinese animation. Fans of Battle Through the Heavens and Mo Dao Zu Shi will find a similar appetite for xuanhuan sect rivalry, companion bonds and reincarnated heroics.
