## Synopsis

My Hero Academia: Vigilantes (2025-2026) is a Japanese animated superhero series created for TOKYO MX and BS Nippon TV, adapted from the manga and produced by BONES. Timid college student Koichi Haimawari (voiced by Shuichiro Umeda) accepts an offer from the revered vigilante Knuckleduster (voiced by Yasuhiro Mamiya) to train as his protégé after a life-changing incident. Their lessons unfold in a city where licensed heroes are not the only ones fighting crime, and the series follows Koichi as he builds his own methods, navigates the shadowy networks of unlicensed heroes, and struggles with the cost of doing right outside the law. Each episode blends brisk action sequences with quieter moments of personal growth, giving the story a grounded emotional core beneath its powered brawls. Its tone is earnest and intense, with a gritty undercurrent that sets it apart from the brighter franchise it springs from. Fans of My Hero Academia, The Boys and Hero Killers will find the same mix of shonen energy and street-level moral friction. The series runs for one 26-episode season, and it works as a self-contained entry for newcomers to the franchise as well as devoted followers of its world.
