## Synopsis

See You Tomorrow at the Food Court (2025) is a Japanese slice of life anime series created as a short six-episode run for AT-X and adapted from a manga. Wada, a girl whose unapproachable air hides a warmer side, and Yamamoto, whose intimidating looks belie a gentle nature, attend separate high schools yet meet almost every afternoon at the same shopping center food court. Their days have no grand quest or villain; each episode is built from their unhurried talk about classmates, friendships, awkward moments and the small ups and downs of school life, with a few classmates and friends drifting through the frame. The tone is breezy, wistful and comforting, with long quiet beats and muted everyday detail that make the food court feel like a second home. Viewers who love the gentle everyday warmth of shows like Aria the Animation, the understated school-life humor of Yuru Yuri, or the friendship-centered coming-of-age of Hanasaku Iroha will find a similar kind of calm. Its brief runtime makes it an easy, soothing watch for anyone wanting a low-stakes companion series about friendship and growing up.
