## Synopsis

Would You Marry Me? (2025) is a South Korean romantic comedy miniseries created by Song Hyun-wook and Hwang In Hyeok for SBS. Across twelve one-hour episodes, Kim Wooju (Choi Woo-shik) and Yoo Meri (Jung So-min) agree to pose as newlyweds, and the arrangement that was meant to be a convenient performance slowly turns into something sincere. Their fake marriage forces them to navigate the expectations of family, friends and colleagues, and each small public deception deepens the closeness they feel in private. Supporting performances from Shin Seul-ki, Bae Na-ra and Moon Seung-you add layers of social pressure and comic friction around the central couple. The series moves at a warm, breezy pace, with playful banter and the awkward comedy of keeping up a false story giving way to quieter, more tender moments. Its tone is light and hopeful, with a steady undercurrent of longing that gives the romance weight. Its one-season, self-contained run makes it an easy weekend watch for viewers who enjoy the fake-relationship premise. Fans of Crash Landing on You and My Love from the Star will find resonance in its romantic chemistry and modern Korean setting.
