## Synopsis

My Troublesome Star (2025) is a South Korean romantic comedy miniseries that aired on ENA across twelve one-hour episodes. Uhm Jung-hwa stars as Bong Cheong-ja, a decorated top actress who, after reaching the peak of her career with a youngest-ever Best Actress award, is hurled twenty-five years into the future following an accident. Her journey is anchored by her renewed relationship with Dokgo Cheol, played by Song Seung-heon, a figure from her past whose connection to her survives the years. Alongside them, Ko Hee-young (EL), Kang Doo-won (Oh Dae-hwan), and Im Se-ra (Jang Da-ah) move through a changed entertainment landscape, pushing Cheong-ja to rebuild her life and identity among people who have moved on. Each episode blends sharp, playful reactions to modern customs with warmer moments of longing and reconciliation. Produced by Jumbo Film, the series carries the light, cozy register of a Korean romcom while letting its time-displacement premise give the romance a wistful undertone. Fans of Hotel del Luna, Crash Landing on You, and Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha will find a similar blend of time-slip whimsy, character-driven comedy, and soft romance. Its tone is breezy and sincere, and the miniseries format keeps the story compact and easy to finish in a single stretch.
