## Synopsis

Poisonous Love (2025) is a Thai girls' love romance series created by MeeNam and produced by North Star Entertainment. Heart surgeon Dr. Prem (Natnicha Pratipnatsiri), known for her flawless composure, sees her wedding wrecked by actress Pat (Jayna Angelina Stevens), and the two begin the series in open resentment. Their rivalry slowly shifts after a fateful kiss exposes feelings neither wants to admit, and the romance unfolds around the pressures of Prem's demanding hospital work and the social circle that surrounds them, including Bow (Thanthip Thaweesinthanat), Sita (Renée Veronica) and Tan (Weerapat Ounsa-ard). The eleven-episode single season, with episodes running around fifty-four minutes, moves as a contained, character-driven story rather than a case-of-the-week format. The tone is warm and romantic, with flashes of comedy in the chaos of the ruined wedding and a steady undercurrent of tenderness as the leads let down their guards. Fans of Bad Buddy and Enemy to Lover will find resonance in its enemies-to-lovers arc, its Thai romantic rhythm and its focus on two women discovering that their hostility hides something deeper. The story is set in contemporary Bangkok and presents a modern, urban romance with a light, hopeful register throughout.
