## Synopsis

Everybody's Live with John Mulaney (2025) is a United States Netflix talk show created as a comedy variety format and hosted by comedian John Mulaney, with announcer Richard Kind handling the on-air presentation. The show is a single-season run of twelve hour-long episodes that presents itself as the first-ever celebrity sit-down talk show, with each week built around a live studio broadcast. Mulaney's engine is the interview itself: he sits down with a rotating roster of guests, moving between conversation, pre-taped segments, and musical performances by guests such as the musicians who appear as a live act. Guests range from actors and filmmakers to musicians and activists, and the format keeps shifting between earnest chat and absurdist bits that rely on the host's fast, wry comic timing. The series has the quick, playful energy of a late night program with a loose, unpredictable edge, where the live format keeps every episode feeling spontaneous. Its tone is witty, irreverent, and breezy, with a deliberately chaotic streak that suits viewers who enjoy off-the-cuff comedy. Fans of Late Night with Conan O'Brien and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon will find resonance in its host-driven comedic style, while those who like Chelsea Lately's sharp edge will recognize the appeal. The show is a comedy and reality hybrid, shot in a multi-camera studio and built for viewers who want a live, comedian-led hour.
