## Synopsis

Just One Look (2025) is a Polish national-television mystery thriller miniseries distributed on Netflix, based on a novel. Maria Dębska stars as Greta Rembiewska, a woman whose hazy memory becomes a liability when an ominous photo surfaces and throws her marriage into doubt. Cezary Łukaszewicz plays Jacek Ławniczak, the husband whose dark secrets the story slowly exposes, while Marta Malikowska plays Kamila Sośnik, a figure drawn into the unfolding tangle of lies. The engine of the series is Greta's attempt to separate what she remembers from what actually happened, all while trying to protect her husband from the danger closing in around him. Told across a single six-episode season of roughly 42 minutes each, it moves as a compact, serialized puzzle in which each episode peels back another layer of buried truth. The mood is tense and claustrophobic, with paranoia building in ordinary domestic spaces. Viewers who enjoy Gone Girl, The Undoing and Big Little Lies will find the same blend of marital suspicion, unreliable recollection and slow-burn revelation. Its tone stays grounded and somber, driven more by dread than by spectacle.
