## Synopsis

My Awkward Senpai (2025) is a Japanese seinen romantic comedy anime series adapted from a manga, produced by Studio Elle and aired on TOKYO MX. Azusa Kannawa, a socially clumsy office worker voiced by Lynn, is the central character, a senior colleague who is considered many things but never smooth. Her world tightens when she meets Kamegawa, her new kohai, voiced by Shogo Sakata, who is cute, a little nerdy, and easy to talk to. The engine of the series is the quiet, mounting tension of an older colleague trying to hide flustered feelings while managing everyday workplace routines, small misunderstandings, and the awkward pauses of a growing attraction. Supporting voices including Ami Maeshima as Miho Hotta and Ai Kayano as Sayaka Kanzaki add friendship and office texture. Across a single twelve-episode season, each episode is a brisk sequence of office scenes, lunch breaks and after-work moments that build affection step by step. The tone is light, sweet and self-conscious, with comic embarrassment giving way to warmth. Fans of Wotakoi: Love Is Hard for Otaku and Kaguya-sama: Love Is War will find resonance in its blend of workplace setting and bashful romance.
