## Synopsis

Nice to Not Meet You is a South Korean romantic comedy drama created by Kim Ga Ram for tvN. Lee Jung-jae plays Lim Hyeon-jun, a detective actor who dreams of becoming a melodrama master, and Im Ji-yeon plays Wi Jeong-sin, a sharp reporter demoted from the political desk to the entertainment department. Their relationship opens as a hateful romance full of spiteful exchanges and wounded pride, and the engine of the series is the friction between their professional ambitions and the stories each is forced to chase. Set in contemporary Seoul, its newsroom and film-set milieu gives the show a glossy showbiz sheen. The tone is witty and breezy with melodramatic flourishes, lively rather than heavy. Across one sixteen-episode season, it blends the sparring energy of enemies-to-lovers romcoms with the emotional swell of a Korean melodrama, asking whether fame and truth can coexist. Fans of Crash Landing on You and It's Okay to Not Be Okay will find resonance in its mix of romance, career ambition, and tender drama.
