## Synopsis

Too Hot to Handle: Italy (2025-present) is an Italian-language reality dating competition produced for Netflix, the Italian edition of the format that began as Too Hot to Handle. Host Federico Palana presides over a houseful of flirtatious singles, among them contestants Jacopo Tommasini, Michelle Veronesi, Klodian Mihaj and Alessia Toso, who gather in a sunlit holiday villa to compete for a cash prize. The engine is simple and sharp: the group earns money only by refraining from any sexual contact, so every flirtation, late-night drink and whispered confession becomes a test of willpower and an opportunity for penalties. The season runs eight episodes of roughly forty-eight minutes each, a single season told as one continuous competition with weekly rule twists and escalating temptations. The mood is glossy, playful and frequently provocative, with bursts of jealousy and banter layered over the sun-drenched Mediterranean backdrop. Fans of Love Island, Temptation Island and the original Too Hot to Handle will find the same mix of romantic gamesmanship, tropical escapism and competitive rule-breaking, delivered here with an Italian sense of style and romance.
