## Synopsis

Drake & Josh (2004-2007) is an American Nickelodeon family sitcom created by Dan Schneider for Nickelodeon. Fifteen-year-old Drake Parker (Drake Bell) thinks his schoolmate Josh Nichols (Josh Peck) is a harmless goof, until their parents marry and the two become stepbrothers sharing a roommate arrangement and a single house. The engine of the show is their reluctant rivalry: Drake schemes for control and status, Josh blunders through his own goofy antics, and their scheming keeps colliding with the household rules set by their parents Audrey (Nancy Sullivan) and Walter (Jonathan Goldstein). Megan Parker (Miranda Cosgrove) adds a sharp younger-sibling foil who keeps stirring trouble. Across four seasons and 57 twenty-four-minute episodes, the format is a classic multi-camera-style sitcom of self-contained stories, each built on a new scheme, prank, or misunderstanding that resolves by the closing scene. Set in a present-day American suburb, the tone is breezy, sunny, and warmly silly, with a steady undercurrent of sibling affection. Fans of Phil of the Future, The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, and Malcolm in the Middle will find the same kid-friendly chaos and family loyalty here.
