## Synopsis

Galactik Football (2006-2011) is a French animated science fiction sports series created by Antoine Charreyron, Frederic Dybowski, Charles Barrez and Vincent Vandelli for France 2 and Disney XD. Set in the Zaelion Galaxy, where inhabited worlds compete in a sport resembling football but played seven to a side, the story follows the Snow Kids, an inexperienced team determined to reach the Galactik Football Cup. The engine of the series is their struggle to grow from underdogs into contenders, while players use Flux, a substance that boosts speed, strength and agility or grants powers such as teleportation, to gain an edge on the pitch. Across three seasons of twenty-six episodes each, the series balances match-day competition with friendships, rivalries and the personal ambitions of its young players. Its tone is upbeat, bright and adventurous, with a warm, playful energy suited to younger viewers. Its three-dimensional animation gives the alien worlds and stadium clashes a colorful, kinetic look. Fans of Inazuma Eleven, Beyblade and Captain Tsubasa will find a similar blend of youthful sport, team loyalty and fantastical competition.
