## Synopsis

Final Draft (2025) is a Japanese reality competition series produced for Netflix. Twenty-five athletes, most of them now retired from their sporting careers, enter a demanding contest in which the winner takes home 30 million yen to launch a second career. The engine of the show is simple and relentless: each contestant wants the prize, and the obstacles are a run of tough physical tests paired with psychological pressure that wears down bodies and nerves alike. Across eight one-hour episodes the field narrows as challenges demand stamina, skill and nerve, so each installment becomes a study of who still has something left to give. The format is a single-season limited run rather than a serialized drama, with competition and elimination driving every hour. Its tone is earnest and inspirational, with a rooting-interest pull toward former athletes who want a fresh start. Fans of the Korean survival contest Physical: 100 and the classic endurance format of Survivor will find the same appetite for bodily grit and underdog resolve. The show suits viewers who enjoy sports spectacle and uplifting stories of reinvention.
