## Synopsis

DMV is an American single camera workplace sitcom set at a department of motor vehicles office, where a close-knit group of minimum wage clerks face a constant stream of irritated customers before they even reach the counter. Harriet Dyer leads as Colette, a clerk whose days are built from paperwork, long lines and unhappy visitors, alongside Tim Meadows as Gregg, Molly Kearney as Barbara, and a supporting staff of coworkers who bicker, banter and remain loyal to one another. The engine of the show is the everyday friction of a thankless public job, where small indignities at the service window are met with quick jokes and affectionate teasing. Each episode is a self-contained slice of office life built on bureaucratic absurdity and character quirks rather than a continuing plot. Its tone is breezy, warm and gently sardonic, with a hangout feel that leans on the chemistry of its ensemble. Viewers who enjoy Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Parks and Recreation or The Office will find familiar pleasures in its mix of cubicle comedy and ensemble humor, offering light, comforting half-hours that reward casual viewing.
