## Synopsis

Helluva Boss is an American adult animated dark comedy series created by Vivienne Medrano and produced by SpindleHorse, distributed through YouTube and Prime Video. Imp Blitzø, who insists his name is spelled with a silent o, runs an assassin business in Hell that targets the living, using a spell book borrowed from a prince of the underworld. Alongside employees Moxxie, Millie and Loona, he struggles to keep the company afloat while the crew tries to survive one another. Each season builds on a continuing workplace story, with recurring musical numbers adding flair to the chaotic plotting. The tone is crude, irreverent and sardonic, with the infernal setting providing satire of bureaucracy, ambition and dysfunctional office life. Fans of Bojack Horseman, South Park and Hazbin Hotel will find resonance in its mix of adult humor, sharp character comedy and demonic workplace satire. Its frank treatment of sexuality and identity gives the show an earnest undercurrent beneath the gore and profanity.
