## Synopsis

Marry My Husband: Japan (2025) is a Japanese scripted drama series created for Prime Video, a single-season run of ten hour-long episodes. Misa Kanbe (Fuka Koshiba) has spent her life as a supporting figure, trusting her best friend and her husband Wataru Suzuki (Takeru Satoh). After discovering their affair, she dies and wakes ten years in the past, determined to become the lead of her own story. Her plan is to ruin her betrayers by pushing them into marriage with each other, a scheme that unfolds through office maneuvering and social games. Along the way, a meeting with her director at work, played by Shin Shimizu as her boss Tomita, starts to unsettle the plan and pushes her to reconsider who she is. Adapted from a web novel, the show sits in the revenge drama tradition with a romantic and comedic edge, and its tone is sharp, glossy and wry while still hopeful about second chances. Its episodes are built around confrontations, mind games and gradually shifting romance in contemporary Japan, with the rewind structure giving every scene a sense of quiet reckoning. Fans of Revenge, Triangle and Hanzawa Naoki will find resonance in its blend of payback, romance and self-reinvention.
