## Synopsis

Mission Hill (1999-2002) is an American adult animated sitcom created by Bill Oakley and Josh Weinstein for The WB and Adult Swim. Andy French (voiced by Wallace Langham) is an overqualified, underemployed twenty-four-year-old who dreams of being a cartoonist while working as a salesman at Waterbed World. His aimless routine collapses when his nerdy seventeen-year-old brother Kevin (voiced by Scott Menville), who wears his SAT score on his shirt, moves into the cramped loft apartment Andy shares with fellow slackers, and the family dog arrives too. Principal voice cast also includes Brian Posehn, Vicki Lewis and Tom Kenny. The thirteen-episode run is episodic, built around roommate mishaps, party-seeking, and the friction between freedom and responsibility inside a city loft. Its tone is breezy, wry and deadpan, with a loose, slightly surreal energy that rewards a viewer who enjoys offbeat ensemble comedy. Fans of Home Movies, Sealab 2021 and Undergrads will find similar irreverent, cult-favorite animated humor here.
