## Synopsis

Murder Drones (2021-2024) is an Australian adult animated horror comedy miniseries created by Liam Vickers and released on YouTube. Across a single eight-episode season of roughly thirty minutes each, the story follows Uzi Doorman (voiced by Elsie Lovelock), a sardonic teen worker robot who has gone rogue, and N (Michael Kovach), an excitable, optimistic disassembly drone sent to destroy her. Their odd friendship becomes the engine of each episode, as the pair navigates a machine world of violence, malfunction and rival robots while the grim consequences of their bond hang over everything. The show is built from short, self-contained confrontations stitched into a continuing arc, giving it the feel of a compact web series. Its look is bright and cartoonish, with cute robot designs set against gory, slapstick carnage. The register is cheerfully bleak: gloomy and harsh moments are undercut by deadpan jokes and sweetness. Fans of Hazbin Hotel and Robot Chicken, and of the grim-yet-goofy satire of Invincible, will find resonance here. Its indie, internet-born energy and mismatched buddy dynamic make it a distinctive, darkly funny watch.
