## Synopsis

Ball Boy Tactics (2025) is a South Korean romance drama miniseries created by Ji Seung-hyun and produced by OAK Company and SAMBOK Production, aired on the Heavenly network. Across eight half-hour episodes, a quiet former gymnast, Kwon Jung-woo (Choi Jae-hyeok), and a playful basketball star, Han Ji-won (Yeom Min-hyeok), drift into a slow-burning romance on a university campus, where every glance and touch carries more meaning than the dialogue. Supporting roles from Byeon Seung-jin (Choi Rak-yeong) and Yang Eun-oh (Kwak Geon-hee) add friendship, rivalry and the easy pressures of college life. The engine of the story is the gap between what the leads feel and what they are willing to say aloud, complicated by a scandal and the looming question of coming out. Set in a contemporary Korean campus, the show moves at a gentle, deliberate pace with sports-hall training sessions, late nights drinking with friends and quiet walks between classes. Its mood is tender, wistful and hopeful, with an intimate photographic eye for small gestures. Fans of Heartstopper, Love, Simon and Crash Landing on You will find a similar warmth and restraint in this compact Korean romance.
