## Synopsis

My Fair Lady (2009) is a South Korean romantic comedy drama series created for KBS2, a Korean television tradition built on glossy, high-stakes romance. Yoon Eun-hye plays Kang Hye Na, the only heir to the Kang San Group conglomerate, a woman envied by the city's wealthiest men and despised by their women, who lives a princess-like life at her luxurious Lady Castle with a retinue of servants. Yoon Sang-hyun, Jung Il-woo, and Moon Chae-won orbit her as rivals and suitors, while Kim Young-kwang and Jang Ah-young bring the family and office intrigue around her. The engine of the story is the friction between Hye Na's pampered pride and the romantic entanglements that force her to confront what she truly wants. Each episode builds on rivalries, misunderstandings, and boardroom maneuvering among the elite. The series runs sixteen episodes in a single season and stays a continuous story rather than a case of the week. Set in present-day Seoul's upper class, it moves between sleek apartments, corporate offices, and society parties. Its tone is breezy and comedic, with a sincere romantic core and a wistful undercurrent about loneliness behind privilege. Fans of Boys Over Flowers and Full House will find resonance in its blend of comedy, romance, and chaebol glamour.
