## Synopsis

Papá Soltero (2025) is a Mexican-set family sitcom created by El Huevo Charlie Barrientos and Mauricio El Diablito Barrientos, produced by Onza Américas. Mauricio Ochmann plays César, a widower who, after his wife's death, must take charge of a teenage stepdaughter, his daughter from a first marriage and a pair of very peculiar twins. Romina Poza plays Ana, Ana Tena plays María and Ana de la Reguera plays Sandra, each adding friction and warmth to a household that keeps running out of patience and time. The engine of the series is simple and domestic: a grieving man who never planned to be a parent has to learn school runs, teenage moods, sibling rivalry and the daily logistics of single fatherhood while everyone around him offers advice. Each of the ten episodes is a self-contained family crisis that builds toward a larger picture of a household learning to lean on one another. The series is a compact, single-season run that stays light and affectionate even when grief surfaces. Its tone is warm, wry and gently chaotic, with grief handled lightly rather than mournfully. Its family-comedy shape and emphasis on reluctant parenthood recall fans of Single Parent, Modern Family and Mom, and the setting in contemporary Mexico City gives the material a distinctly Latin American domestic texture.
