## Synopsis

Duck Dodgers (2003-2005) is an American animated science fiction comedy created for Cartoon Network and Boomerang, running three seasons and sixty-seven episodes. Duck Dodgers, a swaggering space hero, and his Eager Young Space Cadet battle Martian threats in the 24th century, with the Martian Commander and Martian Queen (voiced by Tia Carrere) and Dr. I.Q. Hi scheming to conquer the galaxy. Michael Dorn voices Centurion Robot as a loyal and literal companion. Each twenty-two minute episode is a self-contained caper built from gadgets, alien invasions, and slapstick rivalry, so viewers can jump in anywhere. The show plays its pulp space opera tropes for affectionate parody, descended from the Looney Tunes shorts that introduced the characters. Its tone is breezy and irreverent, with bright colors and cartoon physics. Fans of Futurama and Looney Tunes will find the same mix of retro sci-fi spoof and gag-driven cartoon energy, and the show suits younger viewers and families looking for a light, cheerful space adventure.
