## Synopsis

Stoked (2009-2011) is a Canadian animated teen comedy-drama created by Jennifer Pertsch and Tom McGillis for Teletoon. Across two seasons and 52 half-hour episodes, it follows six teenage groms, led by Rosie (voiced by Fiona Reid), Johnny (Arnold Pinnock), Lo (Anastasia Phillips) and Broseph (Mazin Elsadig), as they spend their first summer away from home at the famed Surfer's Paradise Resort. Their engine is a tug between grueling resort work and the chance to ride epic waves on their days off, with each episode built from shifts, friction among the crew, and small personal crises. George Ridgemount (Gage Munroe) and Kelly (Lauren Lipson) add further weight to the group's dynamics. The show is a linear, serialized-feeling ensemble that is breezy and sincere in tone, with warm friendship and first independence at its heart. Its bright, sun-washed Australian coastal setting gives it an easygoing, hopeful atmosphere. Fans of Total Drama Island and Degrassi: The Next Generation will find resonance in its teen ensemble and coming of age focus.
