## Synopsis

Providence Falls (2025) is a American limited series created by Siobhan Devine for Hallmark Channel. Across three roughly 85-minute episodes, it follows Irish thief Liam (Lachlan Quarmby), who falls for aristocrat Cora (Katie Stevens) in 1844 Ireland. When their romance threatens destiny, angels banish him to present-day Oregon with a mandate to ensure Cora marries another man. Liam is assigned as her police partner, and the engine of the story is his struggle to honor that mandate while his feelings endure. Finn (Evan Roderick) and Suzette Deveraux (Felicia Simone) round out the principal cast, and the miniseries plays out in a single compact arc rather than a long-running saga. The tone is wistful and sincere, with a romantic, gently supernatural atmosphere that blends period melancholy with modern small town procedure. Set across 1840s Ireland and contemporary Oregon, it suits viewers who enjoy star-crossed couples and fated love. Fans of Outlander, Good Omens and Ringer will find resonance in its mix of romance, celestial intervention and emotional stakes.
