## Synopsis

The Atom Ant Show (1965-1966) is a American Saturday morning animated superhero parody series created for NBC by the Hanna-Barbera studio, running for a single season of 78 episodes at roughly twenty-one minutes each. The title character, the formidable Atom Ant, works from a private anthill and picks up distress calls through built-in antennae, then sets out to thwart a parade of gleefully silly villains including Bug Fat Dynamo, Crankenshaft, M.D. and his arch-nemesis Ferocious Flea. Each episode mixes his crime-fighting missions with the antics of Precious Pupp, a scheming mutt who hides his mischief from the kindly Granny Sweets, and the Hillbilly Bears, the most ridiculous bears ever to come out of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
