## Synopsis

Tru Calling (2003-2008) is an American supernatural drama series created by Jon Harmon Feldman for FOX, later continued on Syfy. Eliza Dushku stars as Tru Davies, a university graduate working in the city morgue who discovers she can relive the same day over again. Her goal is simple and urgent: she wants to stop the murders and disasters she learns about before they happen, but each intervention reshapes the day in unexpected ways and threatens the people closest to her. Zach Galifianakis plays Davis, a morgue colleague whose dry humor eases the grim work, while Jason Priestley and Matt Bomer appear in principal roles as figures drawn into her strange gift. The series runs for two seasons and twenty-six episodes, built mostly as a case of the week format, with each episode a race against a clock that only Tru can rewind. Its tone mixes eerie suspense with wry, melancholic humor and a steady current of mortality. Fans of Quantum Leap, Groundhog Day and Medium will find resonance in its blend of time loop mystery, psychic power and emotional stakes.
