## Synopsis

The Wild Thornberrys (1998-2004) is an American animated family adventure series created by Gábor Csupó and Arlene Klasky for Nickelodeon. Eliza Thornberry (voiced by Lacey Chabert) is a young girl who can talk to animals, and she tags along when her parents Nigel (Tim Curry) and Marianne (Jodi Carlisle) film wildlife documentaries across the globe. Her pet chimpanzee Darwin (Tom Kane) and siblings Donnie (Flea) and Debbie (Danielle Harris) add to the household chaos as the family's crew travels from the Himalayan foothills to the Australian outback, Siberian floods and Egyptian tombs. Each episode is a self-contained misadventure built on a location, a runaway animal or a filming mishap, and the tone stays bright, earnest and playful. Across five seasons the series keeps a steady sense of wonder about foreign landscapes and creatures while leaning on slapstick and sibling rivalry. Fans of Dora the Explorer, Rugrats and Doug will find the same kid-friendly warmth, gentle comedy and nature curiosity here, along with a family-trip energy that suits all-ages viewing. Its rating is TV-Y7, and it ran for 91 episodes across five seasons on Nickelodeon.
