## Synopsis

Mr. Bean: The Animated Series (2002-present) is a British animated family comedy created by Richard Curtis and Rowan Atkinson for CITV and ITV1. Rowan Atkinson voices the title character, a clueless yet clever loner whose days are a run of small disasters, aided by his best friend Teddy. Sally Grace voices Mrs. Julia Wicket, and Matilda Ziegler voices Irma Gobb, his girlfriend. Each eleven-minute episode starts from an ordinary everyday problem, such as a household task or a simple errand, and Bean builds an elaborate, escalating chain of inventive solutions that rarely work as planned. The engine is pure slapstick: a stubborn, self-assured protagonist who wants to get through an ordinary day and is undone by his own ingenuity. The series runs across seven seasons and 182 episodes as a continuing collection of standalone daily stories rather than a single plot. Its tone is gentle, cheerful and visually playful, with mostly wordless physical humor that suits young viewers and adults alike. Fans of the original live-action Mr. Bean, along with Wallace & Gromit and Peppa Pig, will find the same warm, low-stakes absurdity here.
