## Synopsis

Mork & Mindy (1978-1982) is a American broadcast sitcom created by Garry Marshall for ABC. Robin Williams stars as Mork, a wacky alien sent from Orson's planet to study the people of Earth, who boards with Mindy McConnell (Pam Dawber), a young woman whose orderly life is thrown into delightful disarray. Conrad Janis plays her father Fred McConnell, a steady presence amid the chaos, while Jay Thomas as Remo DaVinci adds a brash counterpoint in the household's orbit. Across four seasons and ninety-five episodes, the engine of the show is simple: each half hour, Mork's bewildered curiosity about human customs collides with everyday situations, and the family's patient affection shapes how he learns to belong. Each episode is largely self-contained, built around a small domestic problem, a misunderstanding, or a new human custom that Mork tackles with exuberant physical comedy and odd logic. The series is a bright, zany, feel-good affair, whimsical and warm, with a cozy 1970s sitcom atmosphere and a sincere heart beneath the silliness. Fans of Third Rock from the Sun, ALF and Happy Days will find familiar comfort in its outsider humor and wholesome family energy.
