## Synopsis

Class of the Titans (2006-2008) is a Canadian animated fantasy adventure series created for Teletoon, running two seasons and fifty-two half-hour episodes. Cronus, the god of time, escapes the Underworld where his son Zeus imprisoned him and leads a legion of mythological monsters to conquer the world. Standing against him are seven teenagers, unknowing descendants of great mythological heroes, guided by the Olympian gods as they discover the power within themselves. The engine of each episode is a steady stream of monster encounters and quests in which the young heroes learn their inheritance and gradually grow into the roles a prophecy has assigned them. The emotional register is energetic and earnest, with an adventurous, hopeful tone that stays accessible for younger viewers. Its stories unfold across a mythic world of ancient Greek legend, rendered in the bright, action-driven style of Saturday morning animation. Fans of Hercules: The Animated Series, Teen Titans and Percy Jackson and the Olympians will find a familiar blend of divine mythology and teen heroism here. The series rewards viewers who enjoy big battles, heroic bonds and classic myth reimagined for a young audience.
